Aukera Raises ₹90 Crore in Fresh Funding Led by Alteria Capital to Expand Lab-Grown Diamond Business

 


Aukera has secured ₹90 crore in funding. The round was led by Alteria Capital, with participation from InnoVen Capital, Lighthouse Canton, and a leading bank. Aukera is a lab-grown diamond jewellery brand, and the company plans to utilize these funds for expansion.

The company will use the funds to open new experience stores in major Indian cities, expand online and offline sales, drive brand marketing and customer acquisition, strengthen the supply chain and inventory, and launch new jewellery collections and designs.

In 2025, Aukera secured $15 million (approximately ₹124 crore) in funding led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Fireside Ventures, Sparrow Capital, Prath Ventures, and Alteria Capital.

Aukera was founded in 2023 by Lisa Mukhedkar and Kumar Saurabh. The founders identified a market gap: many women could not afford natural diamonds due to their high cost. Lab-grown diamonds offer an attractive and affordable alternative.

In FY2025-26, Aukera achieved a revenue of ₹100 crore. The company currently operates 35 stores across India and aims to expand its presence to more cities. Its investor base includes Peak XV Partners, Fireside Ventures, Alteria Capital, Sparrow Capital, Prath Ventures, InnoVen Capital, and Lighthouse Canton.
