BlackSoil Acquires Credit Fair’s Solar Financing Business to Expand Clean Energy Lending

 

BlackSoil Group has announced the acquisition of Credit Fair's solar financing business. The deal is valued at ₹45 crore. This move marks the company's entry into India's rooftop solar financing sector and is driven by the growing demand for rooftop solar solutions in the country.

Following this acquisition, BlackSoil will enter the market equipped with a solar financing portfolio, a management team, a technology platform, a brand, operating infrastructure, and a network of solar installer partners.

Credit Fair was established in 2018. It is an RBI-registered NBFC that offers easy EMI options for rooftop solar systems.
